1 Line 6 Pocket Pod Review on Thu Jan 29, 2009 7:25 pm

Hey guys,
For Christmas I got given the Line 6 Pocket Pod.

I think they are great because you can make your own sounds and download other peoples sounds from customtone.com and you can upload your own for people to download! How cool is that!

I have made some very good sounds with it. I have made a power ballad distortion with delay, a country sound and a couple others. The other day I downloaded a sound called overdriven tube amp, and man does it sound great!

I would recommend putting the pocket pod into direct mode when using with an amp, I don't know why but it sounds better.

Main Features:

Noise gate (excellent noise gate!)
Tuner (also very good)
Compact size
Belt clip

It is also great for recording, it cuts through like a knife and is crystal clear in the recording.

I was going to get the X3 Floor Pod, but I don't have enough room where I play to have one of those and it was a little expensive for my needs of it yet, I will still get one of these, but maybe a little later on.

If you have any questions or if you would like to hear the Pocket Pod please ask away.

Cheers,
Cav
